hello all.

i have just seen the 'discoholic' thread, and it gave me an idea - for every one great disc that one happans to find, there are at least 4 or 5 bad discs he encounters.

so how about we take the time to warn each other against thease?

my 'bad disc of the day' is deuche gramophon's disc featuring Karajan and the berlin philharmonic playing beethoven's first and fourth symphonies.

needless to say ( as my nick name might imply), beethoven is my favorite composer, and i have a fairly good idea of how his music should sound.... you see, i studied him a bit...

and Karajan takes so many libreties that he shouldn't. wspecially in the fourth symphonie.

אני דווקא מחבב את האוסף הזעיר שלי, יש שם יחסית הרבה דיסקים טובים.
פעם קנו לי דיסק עם שני קונצ'רטי לחליל. אחד של ק.פ.ע.באך ואחד של יוהאן כריסטיאן באך. לצערי, החלילן שם מביך את כל חלילני העולם בכך שהעז בחוצפתו להקליט את עצמו ולא לדאוג שיהיה מכוון... הוא פשוט גולש מטה באינטונציה כל פעם שהוא מסיים צליל. מאוד לא ראוי...
