hello everyone.

since this forum lacks a page to duscuss the finer art of music (conducting), i reacond i'd start a thread about it here.

so, do you have anything to say about the subject at all?

Well I don't have much to say about it, being still young and totally unexperienced in the field, but I do have one thing to tell:

I do not rule out the possibility of becoming a conductor some day, and am actually quite interested... I think I'll start doing something about it somewhere around my second degree... which is in five or six years from now, so I still have time to think about it.

I just hope I won't do like Barenboim, who made the mistake of assuming any good pianist would also certainely be a good conductor, and thus ruined many a classical piece I like. GOD the guy doesn't know a thing about conducting... stupid bugger. Sorry. sudden explosion of anger. מתבייש

Anyway, please enlighten us... you must know more than a thing or two that could be of use to us.
